A letter to the neighborhood….

I just want to take a moment out of the craziness of creating this business to tell you

all how excited I am to be in this amazing and grounded community. I feel very

fortunate to be the new steward of this storied location. You will see over the next few

months that my intention is to create a warm, inviting and welcoming space (with

fabulous food, of course!).

As a restauranteur, my goal is always to add something to the community. To provide

a safe space for all of you to come and leave the stresses and hustle and bustle behind,

if only for a bit of time. To create an atmosphere that is an experience in itself.

As a Chef, my goal is to honor the ingredients. To start with the best possible

ingredients I can source and then through good technique and execution make those

ingredients shine. To extract the most flavor possible from all of them. To be honest

and true about what I am serving. Artusi will have an open kitchen because we want

you to see what we are doing and the work we are putting into every detail our our

menu.

Of course, we have a few surprises up our sleeve so I am keeping the details of our

menu and concept pretty close to the hip but I am very hopeful you will be pleasantly

surprised at what we create.

Life is full of unexpected surprises. I bumped into the love of my life from when I

was young a few years ago. I had not seen her in many many years. We have had the

good fortune of falling in love all over again, so much so, that it brought me back to

my home town.

I am so excited to meet all of you, to get to know you and for you to get to know us. I

want to make the community proud to have us and I look forward to earning your

respect, and business.
